Almost certainly my best electronic piece to date despite it's ridiculous name, DG-Unit maintains a danceable groove while providing plenty of ear candy and an adventure. As you can tell by the preface statement, I'm unusually proud of this one in part because I just began making electronic music a few years ago, and consider much of what I've produced like the Chocolate on Chocolate stuff to be me having fun (not to say I don't think it has worth or I wouldn't put it up here for you or listen to it myself) but this is truly more a composition and closer to what I had in mind when I began learning how to do this.
With that said, the next step is back to using more real instruments, like the guitar I've played my entire life, and playing a show here in Birmingham while recording the 5 or so rock tracks I've had on the agenda.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to publicly call out Neal of The MetaKids to make a video for this song, as well as Awake and any others he finds the time for. He's a busy man in the Bay Area and anyone there should take the opportunity to see and/or hear what he does. But also call him derogatory names until he gets his name on the GB.
Lastly, we've had some new visitors from around the world thanks to some internet radio play, which is wonderful and a harbinger of more music to come.
