My Agenda

For both you and me, I am synthesizing my thoughts and words from this site about my inordinately ambitious goals from where things currently stand.

After taking a few years to make A Symmetry and some of my electronic work in between that, I have just really begun promoting it and getting people to listen to all the music I have available. I put off promoting it until I had more material, and somewhere along the way or before the public seems to have lost interest in albums. I also understand the appeal of standalone songs, and enjoy making them for their own sake and will be continuing to provide them here. I consider the electronic tracks this way, and I am in the process of recording about an EP's worth of rock tracks like this. So, the most immediate music contributions will likely be another few tracks to complete Chocolate on Chocolate and some totally new ones, and a rock EP I consider to be more easily accessible than A Symmetry.

I am also organizing a live act. While I have made a fair amount of music as Dorian Green, I have not yet performed on stage under this name solo or as a band, so there is an unveiling in the works. The live act will include any of the material I've ever produced and more.

Following all this, I am well underway in writing the followup to A Symmetry. It is going to have a lot of similar musical ideas, but include aspects of modern recording technology I chose not to use for my first album since it wasn't the sound I was going for. If A Symmetry embodied music of the rock decades prior to OK Computer, my next album takes those ideas and brings in what modern artists have created since that time, as always, hopefully quite tastefully.

Furthermore, I have always planned to turn some of my electronic tracks into beats for rap, so that's definitely a goal to network with some rappers, first local and then once Jay-Z or Lil' Wayne realize they need a white guitarist that can kick out beats in their crew, I will form Gold Money.

All very ambitious to be sure, but why not aim for the stars.
